Have you ever heard of crossFit? If not I am here to tell you all about this new way of training that can do wonders to your body. CrossFit is a strength and conditioning work out that includes many different techniques for power, strength, conditioning and cardiovascular capacity.
It incorporates gymnastic training, kettlebells, plyometrics, speed drills and body weight exercises as well weight lifting and Olympic lifting. It's a great routine for nice legs and helps build even muscle all over your body.
All these elements put together make an explosive workout that was first only used by professional athletes and later by the armed forces. Since the response was so positive, crossFit was introduced to gym goers with an amazing response.
CrossFit classes are not yet offered at every gym around the globe, but more and more locations are starting to do it. With movements that resemble a lot of real life athletic training, it is something that certainly breaks the boredom and brings tons of motivation by accomplishing tasks.
The benefits are obviously huge since you can shake up your current training, do something new and adventurous without being a navy seal and get all the strength and fat loss that comes with performing intense athletic movements. It's also a great exercise you can do to avoid that holiday weight gain.
Although you can do many movements alone with no expert supervision, it is a good idea to have someone qualified showing you the basic movements when you start. This is especially important when you try to do gymnastic movements on the rings for example, or you try Olympic lifting style of a barbell loaded with plates. Is very important to avoid injuries, so if you are not familiar with the movements, it's better not try them alone.
CrossFit is an excellent way to add that athletic look to your body. It helps you to build muscle and get rid of that flat butt . You finally get the kind of long, lean yet defined muscles that sometimes seems so hard to reach with traditional training.
